Departures to go to the island will be 10 AM each day. We will return each afternoon, arriving back at the dock by 4 PM. We do not furnish the boat. You must borrow or rent a kayak or canoe.
Canoe Rental: Everglades Hostel (http://www.evergladeshostel.com/toursandrentals.htm) They are near the place we start the trip. They have great prices, $30/day. Splitting this with two people make it very economical. Make sure you allow yourself an extra hour to go by there on the morning of the trip, pick up the canoe (they will put it on your car) and get there on time. Kayak Rental: You can rent one the day before the trip in North Palm Beach from a fantastic place, Adventure Times http://www.adventuretimes.com/ . They will put it on your car for you. If you want to pick one up the morning of the trip, you have to reserve early, leave early and go to Florida Bay Outfitters http://www.kayakfloridakeys.com/ . They will put it on your car for you. Both of these kayak places are first-class and really good people. If you're renting a boat, please plan ahead, give yourself plenty of time so that you get to the marina on time. The launch site is about two hours and fifteen minutes from Lake Worth. Allow yourself at least an extra hour if you are picking up a boat down there. Thanks.
